A WAR OF THE ROSES CLASH IN NEXT MONTHS BARLA NATIONAL CUP FINAL
Following last weekend’s semi finals the BARLA National Cup Final at open age will feature a ‘War of the Roses’ clash next month on Sunday 10th April when Lancashire side Waterhead Warriors clash with Yorkshire rivals Sharlston Rovers.
This is a result of Waterhead Warriors 56-10 home win over Myton Warriors of Hull and Sharlston Rovers 36 -4 away victory at West Hull.
As a result of Covid 19 it will be the first time in three years that the BARLA National Cup Final will be played with venue for the game being Featherstone Rovers RLFC
It will be the first time in the history of their club that Waterhead Warriors have reached a BARLA National Cup final whereas Sharlston Rovers were the BARLA National Cup kings between 2011 and 2015 when reaching five finals, winning three in the process and losing out twice.
The game kicks off at 2.00pm and admission is £5 adults, £3 concessions and Under 16’s free
